As a partner, you can become a significant support in the life of a Camden teen. Your support of $208 a month ($2,500 per year) to the UrbanPromise Academy will help to offset the approximately $6,000 it costs to educate a student.

The UrbanPromise Academy offers fulltime private schooling for high school students in Camden. Students often enter the school 2 to 3 years behind their appropriate grade. Through low student/teacher ratios, a family style learning environment, personal accountability, community service and weekly Bible classes, the Academy has seen tremendous success in turning the academic performance around. Presently there is a 95% graduation rate with 90% of the graduates entering the university.

As a Partner you will be invited to attend a "Partner Day" twice each year. Each event lasts for an hour and a half. This time allows teens to meet their Partners and to learn who they are and what they do. It also allows the Partners to meet their students and to encourage them in their work.

Each partner will also receive a photograph and updates on the teen throughout the year.
