As a sponsor, you will allow UrbanPromise to train and employ a Camden teen in our StreetLeader Program. Your support of $42 a month ($504 per year) will help offset the cost of providing a positive job and leadership opportunities for a teen.

The StreetLeader program is designed to help youth prepare for college, excel academically, earn money, explore vocational choices and build a healthy sense of self worth. Youth who are hired as StreetLeaders are paid to work in our AfterSchool Programs and Summer Camps as counselors, tutors and mentors for the children in those programs.

The StreetLeader program is committed to helping its StreetLeaders succeed in high school and continue their education past high school, hopefully at a four-year university. StreetLeaders who are struggling in school are required to attend tutoring and all StreetLeaders are strongly encouraged to attend our SAT classes. Additionally, college tours, scholarship assistance and classes on college life help prepare our teens for college success.
